MCP server for ChipsNews — manage news sources, articles, and triggers
MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for ChipsNews — manage news configuration, sources, articles, and fetch triggers from Claude Code, Claude Desktop, or any MCP client.
No installation needed with uv:
uv run --script server.py
Or install manually:
pip install "mcp[cli]" httpx
python server.py
The server uses environment variables for authentication:

The server uses API key authentication (Bearer token). Pass your key via the CHIPSNEWS_API_KEY environment variable.

Source-derived launch command. Check the maintainer’s required arguments and credentials before running:
uvx chipsnews-mcpMerge this template into ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json. Keep existing servers. Add any arguments, credentials, and permissions required by the maintainer; this template has not been install-tested.
